SHADE WOMEN
SHADE is a women’s movement at The Well Church NJ designed for those navigating midlife and purpose. Rooted in Sisterhood, Hope, Awareness, Discipleship, and Empowerment, SHADE creates a space where women can grow in Christ, build meaningful connections, and be equipped to lead with wisdom.
Inspired by Deborah, who offered counsel under the shade of a palm tree, we gather as a community to be poured into, strengthened, and sent out with clarity and purpose.
“Now Deborah, a prophetess… was judging Israel at that time. And she would sit under the palm tree of Deborah… and the children of Israel came up to her for judgment.” — Judges 4:4–5 (NKJV)
Just as Deborah created a place of wisdom, counsel, and leadership, SHADE exists to cultivate that same environment for women today.
This experience is designed primarily for women in their 30s–50s, focusing on the unique transitions and opportunities of this season of life.
