What do we believe?

Our Beliefs

We Believe:
1. In The verbal inspiration of the Scriptures by God through the Holy Spirit
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

2. That The Lord our God is One existing in Three Persons; the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.  (1John 5:7)

3. That Jesus Christ is the Only Begotten Son of the Father. That He was sent for the salvation of mankind and now ensures mediation and fellowship between the Father and mankind.
(1 Timothy 2:5-6)

4. In The present and active work of the Holy Spirit as our Teacher, Baptizer, Helper, Comforter and Leader in our everyday lives.
(John 14:26; 1 John 2:27; Acts 1:5,8)

5. That the Heavenly Father gave His very best gift of love in incarnating Himself as Jesus Christ.  (1John 5:11-13; Galatians 3:26-29)

6. We believe that every law and sacrament prescribed in the Old Testament was given for the security of fellowship between sinful mankind and a Holy God. We believe that Jesus Christ was the fulfillment of the Law and that He is our full and complete sacrifice offered and fully accepted by the Father on our behalf.
(Matthew 5:17-20; Hebrews 7:18-22; Hebrews 8:7-13; Hebrews 9:16-27)

7. In the finished work of Jesus Christ. The Son of God being fully God and fully man was our perfect High Priest and sacrificial Lamb for our sins.  (Philippians 2:5-11)

8. In the Holy Bible's explicit commands regarding sin in all its forms.
(1 John 3:4-9; 1 Corinthians 6:9-11)

9. That sin separates us from the Father.
(Matthew 25:41-46; Mark 3:29; 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9; Revelation 20:10-15; Revelation 21:8)

10. That the power of salvation, through the shed Blood of our resurrected Lord Jesus Christ, is able to destroy the bondage of sin in all its forms.
(Ephesians 2:13; Romans 6:11-14)

11. That as Christ was raised from the dead, we too will be resurrected from the dead for and throughout the millennial reign of Christ.
(John 5:28-29; Acts 24:15; Revelation 20:5, 6)

12. In the premillennial second coming of Jesus Christ, first to rapture the true Church (His Bride). Secondly in the millennial reign of Christ on the earth. Thirdly in the great Judgement Day when the existence of sin will be forever eradicated.
(I Corinthians 15:52; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; 2 Thessalonians 2: 1; Zechariah 14:4; 1 Thessalonians 4:14; 2 Thessalonians 1:7-10; Jude 14, 15; Revelation 5:10; 19:11-21; 20:4-6)

13. The Holy Spirit convicts us of our sins and He also leads us to true repentance, to walk in righteousness.
(John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:7-8)

14. In living by the two great commandments of Jesus Christ. First to 'love the Lord our God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind. Second to 'love our neighbors as ourselves.
(Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Matthew 22:36-40)

Our Spiritual Truths

The life of a believer ought to be grounded in the following central truths:

1. The finished work of Jesus Christ releases us to live a meaningful and impactful life free from the dominion of sin
2. We have been freed from the old paradigms of the Law and adopted into sonship with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
3. We are heirs of His righteousness and empowered by His Spirit to serve Him powerfully, purposefully and progressively.
4. We do not second guess our status in Him based on our emotions, experiences or failures. We rest on His promise to protect, keep and redeem us from the struggles of this life.
5. Grace leads us to greater understanding of our relationship with the Father and teaches us greater accountability to Him because of our love for Him.
6. Grace also releases us to operate in the anointing of God and operate in the simple yet powerful confession of our faith.
7. Our understanding of our eternal status with the Father fills us with overwhelming and comforting joy.
8. We share these truths and demonstrate our love and community through fellowship with one another and fellowship with the Lord.
